Trainer Tony Noonan is looking at taking classy gelding Benedetti to Dubai for up to three races over the international carnival. The five-year-old's impressive win in Saturday's Comedy King Handicap (1600m) at Sandown prompted Noonan to consider an overseas jaunt.
Benedetti, who is by little-known stallion Second Empire, took his prizemoney tally to over $250,000 with Saturday's victory. The races Noonan are looking at for him overseas include a $120,000 1600 metre event on February 9, a $120,000 1777 metre event on February 23 and possibly a $175,000 2000 metre race on March 8.

Could be interesting to see how he goes. Personally I don't think he will be competitive but it is always hard to tell with horses going overseas.

Good Luck to him though.
